Hi all,
I need some sizing tips for a bike I have to buy for my dad. Now I know I shouldn't buy a bike without him trying it, and I told mum this when I was ordered to buy it, but you try arguing with Cybil Fawlty.
His measurements are 6ft 1in tall, inside leg is 33ich and weighs around 13/14 stone.
thanks
Tom

Most online cycle retailers have a sizing giude. Here is a link to the one at Edinburgh Cycle Co-op. The most important think is to measure the inside leg properly (which is not always the same as your trouser length).

Sounds like he's a 58cm. I'm 6'2'' with a 35'' leg and ride a 60cm and 59cm. My old bike was a 58cm which was ok for me but just a tad to small.0

stick with something bettween 57-59cm as you can always change stem length to suitCarbon fibre, it's all nonsense. Drink beer. Ride a steel bike. Don't be a ponce.0
