Anyone know if they exist? As I am after a 30/36 double ring setup, rather than the 22/36 setup.

28 do, but maybe a different BCD to what you require.

But unlikely the front mech will handle such a low difference between the chainring sizes without having the mech higher than normal which may cause other problems.

Try googling Highpath Engineering - get one of their custom machined rings (not cheap but uber-cool).

Can't see why your front mech would be a problem, but if it is try a road mech.

I didn't think the mech would be a problem. I thought it would shift easier than jumping from 24 to 36 at the moment.
Dave, thanks for the link, I'll ring Highpath on monday.

THe other option is to use a 32tooth middle ring and have some spacers made, unless my MRP spacers will work.

If the chainrings are similar sizes, the inside of the cage can rub on the next ring down. Most mechs are specified with a top-middle minimum difference, usually 10t with MTBs. Of course this is a two ring set up, and middle/lower, but the same principle should still apply I think.

shimano do 26 and 28 104mm bcd ones and maybe a 30 out there have a look at the more touring spec cranks.
