Full size mudguards for Klein Attitude Comp

Does anyone know which full size mudguards will fit a Klein Attitude Comp (2000 model)?

I currently use a Raceguard rear mudguard and a front mudplate, but these don't prevent water, grit and other crud getting on the drivetrain, particularly the chain and front deraiileur, and seat tube.

The bike is fitted with 26" slicks and used on road only.

The frame doesn't have any eyelets for fitting mudguards. There is a hole in the support tube between the top of the seat stays which could be used to partly bolt a mudguard, but nothing else.

Would any of these mudguards fit?

These Zefal Protektor Universal Mudguards would probably fit but the rear one looks far too short.

cheers,

With P-clips and zip ties should be able to mount a FULL rear 'grd - so any for 26" wheels and say up to 26x1.9 tyres (I'm assuming your slicks smaller than that) will do fine.
More difficult at front without 'eyes etc if a sus fork, but can be done. Again P-clips, zips and maybe a home-made bracket will handle a rigid.

My Saracen Kili Comp (early '90s?) wasn't designed for 'grds, but works well enough...

Hi, yes P-clips are probably the way to go. What make are your guards?

Front with sus fork (the original Manitou) would be a bit more Heath Robinson with zip ties etc, but also possible if I can find a suitable mudguard.

    My wheels are 26x1.5.

Not sure! Cheapish from local very small and down-market "LBS". The twin stays are not very good and the mountings with self-tappers are positively rubbish! SKS are better IMO - but pricier.
