This is defo on my list for next year...its an absolute stonking route..the whole of the mighty NY Moors in one foul blow......Boltby Bank...oh jeez...Blakey Bank...even more jeez...Rosedale Chimney Bank at 100miles...an 'out of body' experience....very special experienc and similar to the FWC having such a beast at such a distance...not only that you also do the Bransdale Loop...and THAT is gorgeous....

I think the NY moors are one of the very finest areas to cycle not only in the UK but the world....I get all jittery heading down there....and having BC Yorkshire at the helm you just know its going to be so well organised....116miles with around only 1km on a 'A' road...the rest of the 115miles is solely on cracking well surfaced back roads...with very little traffic...Cannot commend this event enough...Ride it and suffer you will! But what a memory it will leave...
  • this one is definetly on my to do list next year, so looking forward to it!

prepare for the hills, but it was the heat that nearly killed me. The mid day sun out over Egton was a killer, there is just no shade and hill after hill. Rosedale was easy compared to the lesser climbs in the full sun. A cracker of a ride and 3 routes to choose from, the full 115 miler is up there with The Fred as one of the Greats to be ridden at least once in a lifetime.
