I've got a 4.5 and the only non-maintenance related upgrades that I've performed is to swap out the Nevegal on the front for a Blue Groove and the stock pedals for some clipless ones. I'm also thinking of swapping the risers for some flat bars.
The weak point of the bike is the fork, so I might start looking for an upgrade in the new year if there are any bargains about but, if you are already looking to upgrade, I would suggest that it might have been more cost effective to have bought a better bike in the first place...

I thought you had just got a Carrera Fury? Same advice applies - tyres, maybe pedals, then nothing until is brakes.

I'd just keep riding, get a feel for the bike, and then see about upgrades: especially when parts start to wear out. In the future maybe a new fork.0

Ride it, and if you don't get used to it, work out what it is that feels wrong, then upgrade that.
Just upgrading for the sake of it is a bad idea.0
