I live in the South of england,as in portsmouth area and am looking at getting into xc racing, but have no idea as to where they are in my area. I dont even know where to start looking. Are there even XC races in winter? i assume there are, but ive googled and can't find any round here. does anyone know of any? Thanks in advance!

The Gorrick races are very good and there will be the 5 round spring series starting in a couple of months and not that far up the M3 for you. There are the Southern XC rounds as well, some of which are possibly within driving distance0

You could pop up and try one of our races in 2009? We are holding a round of the Southern XC series and our 12 hour enduro sponsored by Charge Bikes again this year.
