Front fork rattle

Hey,
Went out on an all day ride today and got very muddy so had to clean my bike. I could hear grit in the fork was grinding away, so decided to take fork off and clean.
However now the fork rattles against the frame a little.
What could be wrong?

did you tighten the headset correctley when you put the forks back in??Go big or go home!!
