introduce yourself/Gallery page

people were saying about here http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... 7&start=30 how it would be good to have a new page called introduce yourself/gallery like they've got on http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum ... m.php?f=10

so that people who want to show off their bikes aren't looking around for the show us your bikes and other topics where people are showing their updates and new bikes through loads of pages

I'm not sure our Road Bikes would go down too well in that thread......

We need one in the road bike section. I think that's what JC was wanting.

Don't think we need a whole new forum section dedicated to them, but will start a stickied thread like the MTB one.

Hmm, actually, where would you put it? Doesn't seem to be a general section like the MTBers have. Maybe some more roadies can discuss this and admins.

We might not "need" a new section, but don't "need" a bike forum either....

Stickied threads are hard to navigate and hard to search within. It'd be good see discussion about individual's bikes - a long running thread with every bodies bikes wouldn't work.

An general intro section would be good - MTB and roadies are separated and it's rare that the two meet - it's be good to have a shared bike section where everyone could mingle.

I would imagine it would be one of the most popular sections aswell......

Actually I do like the idea of a shared section where we can look at each others bikes (as long as people behave!). Saying that, has to fit nicely in with the existing layout and may be missed if people only open up all the MTB threads for example and not any other sections.

Await others' views!

I see a section like this has now appeared......

But we didn't ask for it to be only in the MTB section.........

there was never a request for it sugested in the stickies that were up for months in the road section.

Maybe next time.
