How long do tyres last on a Turbo??

I'm just about to order a TT, probably a Tacx Sirius, and am wondering what to do about tyres for mine and my partner's MTB/ATB-type bikes.
The alternatives, as I understand it, are:
a) to use the current tyres (Panaracer Mach SS (about £15 each);
b) get some specialist "trainer" tyres (about £20 each and possibly a bu**er to fit/remove);
c) get some cheap tyres (Vittoria Adventure Comforts? under £10 each);
Obviously, it all depends how long the various alternatives will last on the trainer. I anticipate personally doing about 45 minutes to an hour 4 or 5 times a week.
Given a shortage of funds, what would you guys recommend?
