I'd have a good look on ebay TBH.... If (by the sound of it) its just a second bike then get a cheap steel frame from there, buy a tensioner and Bob's yer fannys aunt.

TBH, if its just back and to for college then owt'd do? There must be hndreds of cheap bikes on ebay that'd be suitable? Look at road bikes, hybrids etc...
