Tricross owners - gear cables crossed under down tube?

Hi all, just received my new Tricross comp, making a few adjustments I see that the gear cables cross under the down tube.
On my 'normal' roadie, the cable from the left shifter runs down the left of the tube, and from right shifter down right of tube so parallel cables. On the Tricross the right shifter cable goes left side and left shifter cable goes right side, crossing not far from the BB area. Can't really see it should be too much of a problem, but this is the first time I have come across it.

Because of the many bottle/attachment bosses (there are 2 on the down tube near the BB) the fact that gear cables cross means that one is running around one of the bosses.

Any other Tricross owners got the same setup, or has mine been assembled in a shoddy fashion? And if so is it a big job to correct - is it easy to remove cable from shifter / adjust to run through the alternate cable guide and re-attach to shifter?

Thanks.

it is common to have the cables crossed as it can give better routing around the headtube.

    Dont worry about it.

I have a Tricross and specifically routed mine like that.

It allows shorter cable housing and no rubbing/scuffing against head tube.

I modified the bottom bracket cable guide slighty by removing the plastic between the two holes so I could slide it to the perfect position to center the cables.
