I have a 63cm head, which is quite large, and I found a specialized XL sized helmet fitted me - and only cost about £20.
I don't wear it though. Don't like it.0 -

My dad bought a Bell Triton. It fits his bounce well. The only downside that it looks a bit odd.0

Specialized Chamonix didn't look too bad on my head when I tried it at the Bike Show.
