Hello there:
got the Tora fork, and front wheel stolen from my cannondale F4 bike recently in front morrisons.
I was doing my part time job in the supermarket while some low life striping my bike. I probly know who did it ( 4 white and 1 black local teenagers I saw earlier on that day) but there is nothing I can do about it , since no evdences. the insurance won't take the claim unless the parts were stolen with the whole bike.
anyway
I am thinking of get some bits to get the bike back to work asap. and as CHEAP as possible.
the problem I have is that the cannondale headset is different , it use special headset to fit the rockshox tora bike. while part of the headset were taken away with the fork.
I cannot find any repleacement, there is one actually, priced at £70 ish , bit steep for me.
I am think of getting a headshok ultra fork this time, off ebay for may be £100 or less.
then I will still need a cannondale headset ,I don't know where I can get one,
found from cdale website
so my problems are , if I buy a headshox fork off ebay, will it be easy to assembly myself?
and where can I get the nessary parts ,
Could anyone point a direction for me please?
thanks a lot
Lee

A standard sus fork uses a headset reducer on Cannondale forks, or so I believe.
Something like this:
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... delID=2219
Then a headset to go with it.0 -
