front light recommendations

Hello
need a new front light mainly for the commute, all on road or path, but some unlit.
criteria are...
must be seriously waterproof (do they make bike lights with magnetic switches?)
rugged enough to chuck in a bag with other stuff - am thinking alu body is a good idea.
side visibility a bonus - 'being seen' more important than 'to see by'
preferably under £30
definitely under £40
won't fall off the bracket, but not too fiddly to remove when desired.
am especially interested in what's not worth getting - I had one of these:

which was really good until the exposed rubber got damaged from being in my bag, water got in and did its thing...

Look further than a Tesco Torch IMHO.0 -
For under 30 quid you are probably looking at the Tesco CREE Led torch, google for it being used as a bike light
My commuter bike has a Shimano generator hub wheel and a IQ Fly0
