Now that sounds like a proper ride and breakfast....Does anyone want to buy my kids and dog?

How much for the dog ?

Summer: Two wheetabix and large Americano

Winter: Porridge with honey and large Americano

More coffee throughout the day, fruit and yoghurt for lunch
  • don't like milk, you see.
Arguably you would be better off with toast instead of breakfast cereal, then. :?

    That is abundantly true!

However, work provide cereal, but not bread. :(

Hmmmmm, well, the returns on bread aren't great

I'm actually just too lazy to go out and buy it. The cereal's right here in the office.

EDIT: I like marmite, but prefer vegemite.

Communal cereal yuk that would be like a bowl of nuts on the bar in the pub, besides that stuff looks like the stuff they sweep up at the end of the night.

It's in those little multipack boxes so I'm pretty confident of its quality and urine-free-ness!

    My point exactly

DO NOT eat shared food in the work place, some of the people you work with WILL have done nasty things to it :? or is that just in IT?

Usually about eight-thirty. Mind you the process starts at quarter to six (!)

You'll notice there's a fair amount of parallel activity there, too (who says men can't multitask?). When the parallelism breaks down (usually caused by the early intervention of children... the dogs generally do as they are told!) my commute time goes down... the record is just under 15 minutes, though a headwind can result in missed trains and associated hassle....

I leave the house at 5:30am so I can't get up any earlier to do breakfast, 22.5 mile to work (time can vary from 70-90 minutes) start to feel dead after about 55 minutes.
Once at my desk a proper cup of tea (no machine sludge) and normally either porridge or fibre type cereal although we have a canteen at work that does toast, cereals, porridge and all the usual fried stuff (maybe the odd Friday).

Lunch is either a salad or sandwhich and plenty of fruit throughout the day. Apart from the tea in the morning I just drink pleanty of water

  • My current breakfast tends to be a large bowl of granola and yoghurt. Previous to that discovery, it was some variety of cereal. Of course, any toasted hot cross buns/bara brith/fruit loaf beats all.

When I was in catered halls at university I made the best use possible of the provided breakfast:
a stingy limit of three items from the cooked breakfast menu bowl of bran flakes or muesli piece of fruit pot of yoghurt gratuitous quantities of toast (they had a six slice toaster :D) apple juice tea
Which would often last me through until the catered dinner!

  • Up at 6:00am.

Bowl of Crunchy Nut cornflakes with half a banana.

    1 hour commute to work.

I stick three scoops of this stuff in my waterbottle :-

    creadex.jpg

    Creatine/Carb mix.

I know its only a 1 hour commute but that Fruit Punch Creadex helps keep me hydrated after lying in my kip all night and gives a half decent energy boost on the way.

Good price for the stuff too, get it out of Argos. 8)

As soon as I get to work, other half of banana, 400ml of skimmed milk and 3 scoops of Choccy flavour Hurricane.

Followed by a bowl of bran flakes with loads of various nuts + raisins mixed in on arrival.
