Morning Y'all
Hope everyone is cool and groovy
My Altura Nevis has finally died on me which leaves me looking for a replacemnet. I have around £65 to spend and have been looking at the Endura Crosstrack & Phoenix, Altura Crossmax and the Raceface Atlas or Aquanaut.
Does anyone have one of these jackets or can recommend one around my budget?

I was going to reccoemend the Gill Pro speed but they don`t sell it anymore. The Crosslite was my next option,if I hadn`t got the Gill.2006 Giant XTC

Got an Endura Laser (£40) for 'summer' rides and I'm still using it now with various combos of base- and mid-layers. Cheap as chips, waterproof and very breathable.0

The Crosslite has some good reviews but ideally I was looking for something with some front pockets. I like the idea of having a hood but dont know how practical they are over a helmet.
Any thoughts?0 -
No point in a hood.0

I have two Convert jackets. Sleeves zip off to make a gillet when it's neither cold nor hot!
Have two because I bought a black one for MTB, then liked it so much I bought a hi viz one for the road bike.
Sleeves or whole jacket stuff into back pocket. If you stuff whole jacket into pocket there's velcro straps to attach the little bundle to the bike frame so you don't have to carry it.My guide to navigating using the Garmin Edge 800

I recently bought the Pace 3x3 eVent jacket. A little out of your price range but its a top jacket. I really rate the eVent fabric now I have tried it.0

I like the look of the Convert jacket, but wondered have you ever had any trouble with the zip off sleeves leaking?
The eVent jackets do rate really highly however its a bit beyond my means what with the the big C coming :?0 -

I think Gill have stopped making cycling clothing - just sailing stuff now. A real shame because the Pro Speed eVent was the best jacket going.

Nope. Zips are waterproof ones with a storm flap behind. My guide to navigating using the Garmin Edge 800

Excellent stuff sounds like we have a winner
Im 5'11 tall so reckon on a medium, how do they size up as you never can tell lol0 -
Well I'm 5'8" and have a large, mainly for the belly Though I don't find it too long in the body or arms so I think a medium will be too small for you.
If you want me to take any measurements just let me know. I don't suppose the sizing has changed with the new version. My guide to navigating using the Garmin Edge 800

I was in TK Maxx on monday and seen Santa Cruz jackets going for about 30-40 quid... I looked at the label and the RRP was 140-160.
So if you got a TK maxx near you get down there and have a gander...0
