Dyno hub withstand off road?

I know this is more of an mtb query, but I thought more folk using dynos would be on commuting forum.
Will it be OK to use my dyno hub off road, wheels on the ground riding, or will the bouncing around break the dyno hub. It's not so much for the light, but more do I need a specific off road hub or will the dyno be fine?

Off road riding does take it's toll, I've not broken a hub yet, and I''ve given some fairly lightweight hubs a lot of abuse over the years, but I have always used MTB specific hubs.
I can't imagine it would do it much good, i wouldn't want to take a road hub off road, even on a fairly light ride, the bearings just wouldn't be up to the job.pain is temporary, the glory of beating your mates to the top of the hill lasts forever.....................
