reccommend me a torch

i'm in the process of getting some lights to try night riding i've bought a trustfire tr801 which i think i'll use on my helmet but i think i'll need something with a further reach for the bars any thoughts welcome.

Thirded. Don't forget the cells and charger, which are cheap as chips anyway.

Or - do what I do - P7 on the bars and have a Fenix on the helmet. OK - the fenix may not have the throw of the P7 - but I find I use the helmet for looking round corners and at things - rather than off into the distance as much.
And the Fenix battery lasts me a whole ride. So I dont have to take off the helmet to change batteries mid way through.

P7 is a cracking torch tho.

Fenix TK11 for quality.

If you are not in a rush get something from deal xtreme.

But hard to return if something goes wrong as they are in china I think, and fenix has UK shops next day delivery.

I needed one like yesterday so got the Fenix, but am looking at deal xtreme for a second.

supposedly a fair bit brighter, but not as well made.

The fenix are very well made - you can swim with them. The p7 quality is pretty good too - i have hosed mine down and it was fine. All the beam shots i have seen for maglights have been very poor by comparison. Try googling yacf and light test to see some great tests- on many lights.
