trails around hartlepool

hi
im looking for trails around teeside area ,for me and my 13 year old son ,first timers any info would be great .thanks

    Not technically Hartlepool but I regularly ride around Guisborough Woods (Pinchinthorpe) which is probably only about 30 mins from you.

    I sometimes pull my little boy around the firetracks on his bike using my Gator. Also the Mrs rides there too so cant be all that bad.

    With it being a forest there is lots of wide firetrack and interesting singletrack sections to sample. There are also a couple of routes of varying technical levels, when you want to progress.
