OUCH...happened to me this morning...sorry but your film made me laugh  ...unless it is very serious there is a lot of comedy attached to falling off a bike...I hope you weren't hurt...I am very stiff down one side and my knee is the size of a cricket ball...

Yes, I have to agree - you have to laugh, especially when viewing on video. Nothing broken but am limping considerably as left thigh took the brunt of it. Amazingly, no clothing destroyed - perhaps a benefit of coming off on the ice? Will purchase parrot as soon as I can.

...me to, grazed skin, blood, but no damage to clothing...I do wonder why the driver that witnessed my dive didn't even lower her window to check I was ok...but hey ho... perhaps she couldn't stop for laughing...

I didn't laugh :? , and when did youtube go widescreen.

I came off 3 times on black ice on motorbikes, I lay there one morning with a CB 500 on top of me thinking .... this can't be right.

I'm hoping my fat mtb tyres (and going slow) will save me from the winters worst.

I doubt he's reading this, but an exceptionally nice pedestrian saw the whole thing and came over to offer assistance: helped me up (after I'd stopped groaning in the road), wheeled my bike over onto the pavement and stuck around to make sure I was OK. A friendly biker also stopped as did another passing ped. Diamond people so my thanks goes out to them!

Oh, and then a 4x4 driver with a mobile phone clamped to their ear saw what had happened, mounted the pavement and tried to finish me off......

Oh, OK so I made that last bit up.......
  • Ouch! I can sympathize, I hit the deck three times last week. The ice was a bit thicker and a bit softer than the road though.

It's a funny feeling, lying on the floor at 6am!
