Hi everyone I live in Scarborough, love going out for long(ish) rides but gets lonly after a while, and its hard to get motivatedto go it alone and dont minding taking kids in trailer but the missus gets wingy after a short distance.
So if there is anyone out there fancies meeting up for a decent but steady ride give us a shout. I like on and offroad routes. :D

mtb-extreme is a biking online community of riders mainly around Middlesborough/Guisborough. Its a very friendly site, I'm planning on attending their month foum meet on 7th of December.

As for myself, I tend to go out riding on a sunday, anywhere from Driffield way, upto Dalby/Wykeham/up on the moors. Your welcome to join me riding btw.

Guisborough Woods is fairly hilly from what I have seen, as for easy rides, its not too bad around Forge valley, some nice and wide trails. (Basically its the path which runs though from Throxenby Mere)

I'm in Scarborough and none too fit!
I'd be up for this but my MTB's are out of action pending wheel repairs to one and delivery of new handlebar on the other! Should have one or the other in service in a week or so.

Hey Mat! I see you've been riding in my old teenage haunt through Forge Valley/Raincliff! How is it back there these days? I guess it's going to pretty sticky around now. I haven't forgotten that ur around here for rides...truth is i actually haven't been riding since before you made your thread!!
  • Hi Dan thanks for replying, that sounds good when you get your bikes back on the road just let me know.

Still haven't got started myself! Finally getting the MTB wheel rebuilt this week, but to be honest I've been thinking about just getting the road bike out to get fit for now too.

How are you finding Paragons? Sounds like you're getting pretty serious!
  • Sort of i am easing myself in steadily, I am not the fittest person in the world.
Weather it mountain bike or road bike if you fancy a ride out just give me a shout.
I will pm you my e-mail address so you can get in touch easy
