Not sure this is the right section so i will leave it to the mods to move
Just bought myself a 2nd hand cyclo cross frame to build into a single speed winter bike I can use about 50/50 road and light off road. Got most of the bits in the shed ready just need some forks. A mate has some carbon On-one 29er forks for sale but I am not sure if they will fit, any one tried this combination and does it work I am thinking the angles and height might be wrong.

Hard to say what the original was designed for. The 29er forks may be too long if 'suspension' corrected, and a 26er the wrong trail or offset.
I'd look at specific CX forks.0 -
I reckon, the on-one forks will have the wrong rake for use with a crosser. You could probably swap them for a reasonable set of cross forks though0

Some from On-One's Pompino or Kaffenback would be perfect.
