I finally managed to find all of the Canal Du Midi, just completed it over 6 days from Toulouse to Sete.
Still hard to find it in Beziers and Agde. Just after Agde the piste (path) is very narrow single track.
Then the final part all the way to the Lighthouse very windy.
but after 3 times trying I have managed it all the way to the lighthouse on the Etang De Thau then along the beach to Sete and Palavas les Flots.
4 weeks from Preston to the Med.
Now to ride back to England, towards the cold yuk yuk
see you folks

I know it well. I stayed in Agde for a few weeks. It's nice down there....wish I was still there.
Enjoy

Just got back to the UK , and yes I did enjoy the tour
the ride back was through the Massif Central, Puy de Velay, Roanne to Digoin canal, then some of the Lateral du Loire canal
in 6 weeks from Nov 2nd I only had one day of rain and one day of snow!!!
Extremely lucky
Now resting in Abingdon near Oxford feeding my mates's chickens while he goes off skiing.
