    What a load of old tosh.

    Does this take into account all methods of train propulsion, (diesel electric and steam) and from what percentage of the world movement of these vehicles is the study taken?

    Who knows? Maybe the production of bikes, per person, emits more harmful particles than if we shut the manufacturing plants and took a bus!
