Away to buy a new set of XT cranks but what size of crank length should I get. I'm 5'8" with a 30" inside leg. Being a short arse I'm thinking the 170mm or 165mm?

But, crank length can be very personal, shorter length tends to lend itself to quick spinning pedal action, longer length more pounding powerful action, depends on what and where your riding, shorter in downhill, rocky, technical sections, longer for XC.
What did you have before?
Did you notice any times you'd prefer a shorter crank?
p.s That indicator is designed for road riders who tend to have a higher cadence, if you want to pound the pedals go for the next length up, if you want to spin go with the recommended length0
