Parcelforce?

For anyone who has used parcelforce, what kinda times do they deliver? I've had something sent using 48hr (which should be arriving today) but it hasn't arrived in the morning like most couriers normally do, do they normally deliver in the afternoon? Or are they just complete rubbish and I'm going to be waiting weeks?

Really depends where you are on the delivery drivers round, and how many drops they have. Sometimes they start the day with a full wagon and take the most efficient route to get all parcels dropped off by the end of the day. If that means that it's more efficient to drop yours last it'll probably be with you later this afternoon.
At other times they'll do a morning delivery with one load, then go back to the depot, refill and do an afternoon delivery, but the same applies as to where you are on the round as to how early you get the parcel.
They're generally ok so as long as it left the senders on time it should be with you today.
Do you have a consignment number? if so you can check where it is on their website.0 -
The deliver all day if I recall. Thing I do really remember about them is that they dont knock very loudly and dont wait very long before walking away. Im sure they write the "tried to deliver" cards before they leave the depot.0

I live quite close to the depot so I'm assuming they'll either deliver early or late (on the way or on the way back) so I'm hoping its the latter. Unfortunately the sender sent through his Local Bike shop who rather stupidly don't seem to have kept the consignment number.
Fingers crossed for later on...0 -
The fact they're often known as Parcel Farce should tell you everything you need to know... :roll:0

Well their customer services aren't too bad, I asked for a consignment number for my postcode and they gave me one which was for a parcel that was delivered a few days ago. If they can't find one that's more recent I think it may be likely the thing was never sent in the first place >:(0

Ah it's just arrived
I've never had a parcel delivered at 3:05pm before, or the afternoon at all infact, but there we go.0 -
It all depends on the route, my stuff comes from the Bristol depot, and they generally reach me about lunch time.0
