While I build up lots of base miles on the road this winter i'll need to loose the knobblies. Can anyone recommmend a tyre for riding on city and country roads, that ideally has the lowest rolling resistance possible while still providing enough grip for riding in the wet. Any kind of puncture protection would be a bonus.

Cheers :)

Specialized Fatboy slicks. 1.25", 90psi, tough and very grippy.
  • Conti Ultra Gator skins or Vittoria Rubino slicks. Both available in 26".
I have the Rubinosin 700c form on my road bike and they are tough but fast.
