Depends how much you want to pay. Modern LED lights are very good. I've used a Hope Vision 2 for a couple of winters and found that had plenty of light for unlit roads. The new Hope 4 LED should be even better. Lupine make fantastic lights at a price to match. Lumicycle are also popular and about to bring out a LED light. Dinotte are also good (but not sure who imports them at the moment).0

Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos0

I've used a pair of Lumicycle Halogens for the last four years. They're superb. Great run times - intelligent charger (which means no fear of over charging) and choice of bulb types and wattages. I use a flood (with glow ring) for riding on lit roads, then switch on a 12w Spot to light the way on unlit parts. They're that bright I've even had cars flash me to 'dip' my lights on the unlit sections!
