Hi all,
i injured my back whilst playing football about 6 months ago now. I have been having physio for it but with no great success. I go out riding about 2-3 times per week and each session is of moderate intensity. At no point during my rides am i in any pain or discomfort but after riding my back pain comes on and really starts to ache.
i know about correct seat height and always try to maintain 30 degrees flexion when the pedal is at the lowest point. also i am aware of the effect that different amounts of cleat float can have on knee and back pain and have tried several positions but am currently riding in what i consider to be the comfiest position.
Just wondering what info/advice/help you guys can give me???!!!
Thanks,
Louis

Could be a variety of things. I get pretty similar symptoms. I suffer with a problematic SI joint. Pilates seems to help as does stretching the glutes and hamstrings before and after each ride. I've been suffering for a couple of years now..trying lots of different approaches..but none seem to result in total relief.0
