According to yesterdays Grauniad, Directory Enquiries received 94% more calls this year so far than last year, requesting telephone numbers for bike shops. Does this eman there are actually fewer bike shops or that more if us are cycling? Hopefully the latter, but sadly there was also a huge rise in calls requesting numbers for for Pizza Delivery shops as well, which may somewhe defeat the object of taking up cycling! Apparently it's something to do with recession - people want to eat a cheaper take away, rather than going out to eat at a restaurant and want to use a bike rather than a car to commute. According to the article fewer people have been calling asking for numbers for cleaning services - so we are all now living in filth, and surrounded by old pizza boxes, but go out on the bike (and have sex and sing kareoke) more... :D

I think they compliment each other very well. Eat pizza = need to cycle = need to eat pizza! Now that's the kind of viscious circle I like. :D
To err is human, but to make a real balls up takes a super computer.

A viscous circle? That'll be the melted cheese on your wheels...
