Was out enjoying a ride with 3 buddies yesterday, (general mix of tow path, trail, woodland & road, 41 miles in total) when on entering a small wood which requires a small roll down a bank from the road was so very quickly and immediately flattened and winded, my mate following said it looked like i'd been shot!
I'd hit some sort of building block obviously placed there by kids and within a hand clap was off with my full weight on my elbow which in turn pushed into my collar bone. How I never broke it was a minor miracle!
Today my shoulder feels like the same sort of sore pain you get when the anaesthetic wears off from a wisdom tooth pull!
Maybe the 24lbs I've lost in the last 10 weeks helped!
Roll on next Sunday to get out again, lol.
