Hello All,
Just looking for a bit of advice. Got a trip in June hopefully and I'm looking at getting myself a touring bike or building one and wanted to know of any good frames or if any body has any frames that are looking for a new home maybe......
Sorry its a little bit off subject but as some of us out there use panniers on their commute thought it would be a good place to start.
Cheers

The doctor said I needed to start drinking more whiskey. Also, I’m calling myself ‘the doctor’ now

Absolutely no idea.
Might be worth asking these chaps too:

"What happens when the hammer goes down, kids?"
"It stays down, Daddy."
"Exactly."0 -
Or Road Gear & Know-how - lots of knowledgeable folk in there.
For secondhand, Google for any recycling centres or cycle charities near you - some take old bikes and renovate them.A fanatic is one who can’t change his mind and won’t change the subject - Churchill0 -
What's your budget?Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos0

I would probably go for a Alu/steel road frame with 700c wheels. Flatbar and adjustable stem - MTB groupset with index shifters (xt or something)..........in fact, I would modify this bike that I built for commuting as it is light (8 ish kilo's) and comfy.
