Weightlessness on the bike?

Had a bizarre spell on the bike yesterday morning. For about an hour, i was belting along easily, but I had what i can only describe as "weightlessness" in my arms and legs- not numbness or weakness, but i couldn't feel the effort. It's happened once or twice in the past, notably last year riding up the Llanberis Pass, it felt like my legs were just spinning the pedals of their own free will and i didn't have a say in the matter! It was disconcerting really, it felt like at any second, whatever it was would "switch off" and i'd suddenly have no energy. Anyone else had this?

I definitely have the occasional day when I feel really strong on the bike, but never weightless!
Sounds like some zen like state to aim for, especially up the pass0 -
I have had this several times - I generally find the next day the 'bill' arrives and I'm sore!'07 Langster (dropped one tooth from standard gearing)

And I thought that "white powder" was sugar
Could have done with that magical force again today (I'm off work this week so lots of riding). 30 miles out, 15 miles with 4 mega climbs, 30 miles back with a headwind. I'm tired :shock:0 -
