vaude 25 backback/pannier

Hi, I wondered if anyone out there had any experience of the Vaude cycle 25 pannier that converts into a backpack.
I'm less interested in using it as a backpack and was more attracted to it as a pannier because it has outside pockets and was much lighter than the altura dryline (which I'd initially been looking for and turned out to be on the heavy side - especially once I imagined it with my D lock inside). I'd only be using it for my commute as I can borrow my partner's Ortleibs if I ever get fit enough to do anything longer distance.
