can someone please tell me how the persuit team managed to beat the team srinters in somethingthay train full time for?
part from that sounds like it was a great event.

because it was a flying event

if we were given the split times you would see the sprinters lead from the start and tire (endurance) and the endurance are slow to start but get stronger due to their far superior endurance

now make it a traditional team sprint with a standing start and the sprinters would be on for the catch! haha

The best bit about the 750m flying Time Trial was Rob Hayles egging on the crowd in his roll as endurance "coach". His celebratory dance when the sprint boys failed to win was pretty funny too.

Jamie Staff giving the endurance boys the thumbs down while he was warming down was pretty funny as well.

As is often the case in Women's racing, especially the Junior events a crash caused chaos in the bunch

Er.... is that actually true? I think that's the first crash I've seen in women's track racing having been to 3 Revolutions and watched several of the big international meets on the TV. Are there really more crashes in women's racing than men's?

yes way way more crashes, you've been lucky not to experience the bitching that goes on behind the scenes aswell

especially after the 1-2-3 in the points at the wc

ok men crash aswell, but in the national championships there were 9 riders in the womens scratch race, and there were 3 separate crashes, even after a few pulled out!!
