Front Disc Juddering

Not sure why but while braking heavily on my juicy three up front, the front seems to judder. Have a new headset with correct preload so don't think that's causing it and a rock shocks tora set to a normal amount of squish which are newish and functioning fine.
Any thoughts on what causes this?:?
cheers

pads on rotor arms, pads not quite big enough for caliper, loose caliper or rotor bolts, wheel not done up enough...0

and the disc and pads are clean."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

i had this last week when out, checked when i got back and found one side of the front pads was down to metal!! (other side was like new!)
worried me as i thought the forks might be at fault and snap over at the point where the legs enter the lowers!
think i may have been a bit ott in my thoughts though!Timmo.
