A while since I've bought an "up to date" mtb, but this

LOOKS a good buy. Anything "wrong" about spec that I'm missing? Don't see how I could get a decent 2nd hand (my usual choice!) hard tail for this money.
Any comments welcome. Thanks.

Good value and weight, but buying from ebay can be a pain. You will have to build it, no chance of testing for size, and if it goes wrong have to post it back at your expense.0

You can get a decent 2nd hand hardtail for a lot less than that
My Orange Gringo for example

Thanks. No problem with building it (in fact, I'd rather it came in many parts! When I build it I know it's right!) and I'm pretty confident about sizing (as long as I get to cut the steerer). Returning? Well, I've never had a problem with distance buying YET....
I'd looked at the Gringo, Andy_B, but a bit on the heavy side - steel, I assme?
Keep thinking....d.j.

That looks quite nice - but doesn't give much detail about the spec?d.j.
