We've now got our own website, designed as a hub for mountain biking in the Swindon area.
www.mbswindon.co.uk
We've formed a CTC-affiliated club.
http://www.mbswindon.co.uk/club/
We've got 286 members on facebook.
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=41279586404
We're on google maps:

Just search for "swindon trail" on google maps if you want to find the trail.
We've got big plans for the next few months. We've got some sections to repair and strenthen after the harsh winter, plus we have work in progress on a new layout at the start. Beyond that we have laods of plans for improving sections.
We want 7km of decent singletrack by the end of this.
There's loads of ways you can help.
-Join the club - it allows us to apply for grants to help on the trail.
-Donate via paypal. We're short of materials and if 300 people donated £2 then we could afford another lorry load of gravel.
-Come to a build day. They're good fun and you'll get to meet local riders.
-Ride the trail and spread the word. We've still got loads to do to get it how we want it, but it's already a fun ride.

Trail is looking really good.
Especially love the effort thats been put into the first section of boarding, thats by far the best section of the trailwww.settingascene.com - MTBing in Wilts and the southwest, join up for info and ride details.0 -
Great to hear that Joec1. We've had to do a lot of mundane work in the early part of this year, and that section was the first chance to get on with something a bit more interesting. We've got loads more planned. The CTC have given us some money to pay for materials on the next section we're going to be working on.0

Hi Paul,
Try and get down to the club night - every Friday 7.30pm at the trail. We do 2-3 laps (depending on weather) then go to the pub. Very sociable & getting very popular.

Eventually.......I got round to popping in and had a look around a coupla weeks ago.
Well done, it's obviously been hard work. Hardtail suited it nicely. I only hit two trees and narrowly missed two young men on rigids going the wrong way.0 -
