Hi everyone, I am currently converting an old elswick hopper bike into a fixed gear bike.
After hunting through the internet all evening trying to find info on flip flop rear hub my heads started to hurt and I feel I am going around in circuals a bit. Anyway how much am I going to need to spend to get a basic flip flop rear hub and are there any good deals on wheels with flip flop hubs already attached? Links would be a great help too!
Sorry to be so full on but I am rather confussed by it all!!???

hey, I've got a set of these on order and have seen hundred roll out the shop door with no problems what so ever, a very funky choice for a flip flop hub.0

Cheers for the link, a little pricey for me tbh. I've found these what do you guys think?

they look almost identical to the ambrosio track hubs, so if the quality is up to the same standards then definitely worth a look.0

"they look almost identical to the ambrosio track hubs"
So they do - probably are - doubt sjs make their own. Likely good value.d.j.

I f you go to the US you can find plenty of "Flip Flop" hubs. Here in the UK and Europe you won't find any as they don't exist here. They are correctly called "Fixed-Gear" hubs, with a fixed thread on one side and a thread for a "Gear" on the other, e.g. a single freewheel. :shock:0
