And so the final member of the Experience heads off. That's one hell of a power trio God's got for himself up there...

RIP big man.

    What an absolute tragedy :(

Calling your son "Mitch" when your last name is "Mitchell".... such a shame. :(

    How time passes . :?

I first saw Mitch - and Jimi and Noel - at the Shaftesbury ( I think ....hazy times  ) in an 'all stars' line up with Martha and the Vandellas and Shakin' Stevens amongst others , although JImi was the main man of course . I'd never heard anything so bloody loud .

In a way it's sad that these old geezers ( ..Mitch was younger than me btw ) still head out on the road when their best times were an aeon ago . And when these resurrected rockers pass by in the neighbourhood - this year the likes of Johnny Winter ; the Mothers of Invention ( ... alright , 'Grandmothers ' then ) ; the great Captain's Magic Band and so on - I resist going to have a looksee to see them again as I'm invariably disappointed . The 'Thrill is Gone ' as BB King would have it .

Anyway , goodbye Mitch , you shared the best times of Jimi without doubt .
