The guy has a cool name and I recall him doing quite well on the stage to Villard de Lans in the 2004 Tour. He seemed to be on Lampre's roster (he rode for Saeco in 04) for a bit but I haven't heard much of him since. Is he still riding? Has anyone actuallly seen him in any events?

Hmmm, seems like 2006 was his last year on a Pro Tour team. Maybe he's retired?Le Blaireau (1)0 -
I know that he went back to racing as an amateur in Italy in 2006, but, as far as I know, he quit altogether soon afterwards.
