Who would like to join me for XC at Mabie Forest, Dumfries?
Would anyone like to join me for XC mountain biking at Mabie Forest? Either male or female mountain bikers is fine All I am looking for is decent people to tear up the trails with!
I am 29, male, moderately fit and moderately skilled on a mountain bike. My real name is Steven :P
I go round the blue graded trail at Mabie Forest as it best suits my skill level but I would go round the green trail with any beginners? I may be bribed to go round all or some of the red route with a hot chocolate!
I have only been round the trails at Mabie Forest but would certainly be interested in checking out more of the 7 stanes trails! I don't have a car so I cycle to the trails.
If anyone is interested send me a message!

Hiya,
Now dont quote me on this but I think there is a group that meet up at Mabie at 6pm on a Thur night each week.
Of course at this time of year it means riding by candle light
If you ask in at the bike shed (at Mabie) they will be able to tell you.
I ride Mabie occassionally but prob not often enough to realistically offer you company...good luck.Live Each Day0 -

there certainly is a Thurs group ride. In fact more than 1 but the others are a bit fit!!
We usually meet 6.30 for 7 ride-out.
If you don`t have lights we can sort something out for you or you can hire from the shop(day before or during shop hrs).
We usually try and arrange something to eat post ride, £5. @ 8-8.30.
Best to use the bikingheaven forum(G&Gs own)
Just ask Jemma to introduce you to Lasagne/JohnyNinja/BigAl/Danny or Robin.
Night rides are being organised at Ae on a Wed night, again have a look at Ae cafe web site. http://www.ae7.co.uk/
We can organise lifts for you if you want to join us for other rides.
alpha & smokie you are welcome to join us any time.

Hi Alphaanne,
I'm sure you could just hire on the day, although i think you would need the relative ID and deposit depending on wether you wanted a full sus or not.
Info here http://www.cycle-centre.com/Shop%20&%20 ... s/menu.pdf
Hope this helps.0 -
