It's done and over. Dead and gone. No more. Finished. Lance's picture will no longer be on the covers of any magazines. He doesn't stand a chance. Just got the latest issue
of Outside magazine and low and behold he wasn't on the cover, or even in that issue.
He's been replaced by some guy wearing swim goggles. Michael something or other
and as I understand it the publicity machine is just starting to pick up steam for this guy.
I'm sure he will be so big that even the cycling mag's will have to have him on the cover.
I also have a question. I get Outside magazine as a gift subscription(wouldn't buy it for
myself) and am wondering if anyone else finds it as strange and weird as I do? Can't
quite put my finger on it but it's almost "creepy". I feel like I'm definitely no where near "cool" enough to even own a copy, let alone read one.

Perhaps the emphasis has changed and title refers to being "out" rather than outdoors.0 -
