    At Tesco one year some people stopped in mid-motion, as if their picture had been taken... why???

    I work in Asda and they put a call out saying that we would have 2 mins silence but they totally fooked up. Everybody was silent but the head office which controls the Asda radio was supposed to play the chimes from Big Ben, but instead played pop music at an ear ringing level!

    As you could imagine, we ended getting a lot of complaints.....:(

    What would they think if they could see what a mess this country is now?

    At my company we did it. I was in the staff kitchen on my floor at the time. Disappointingly two people carried on a conversation in the hallway through the whole two minutes.

    A refugee was an Asylum Seeker whose claim to Asylum has been accepted. This gives that person the right to be in this Country and the right to the receive the same services that you do.

    What would you do if you were in a Country being ripped apart by Civil War and you had the money to pay an agent to get you and your Family out?

    I used to work with a white Zimbabwean who was lucky and got out sometime ago. There was a farm in his extended family and when Mugabes mates came around to seize it they didnt go for my ex colleagues family, they went for the workers. If they didnt leave they were asked if they preferred wearing long or short sleeves.

    Whatever answer they gave determined at what point their arm was cut off.

    At my work they rang the fire alarm at 11am to start the 2 mins, I was on a training course given by a guy from the US who looked at bit shocked when we all stopped for 2 minutes mid discussion. The only problem was they didn't do anything to indicate that the 2 minutes was over so I think we stayed silent for about 5 before anyone was brave enough to speak.

    I already have - currently living and working in Eastern Europe, where I have a right to be - just like the majority of people who have moved to the UK to work.
