I'm an MTB imposter but had a major puncture last night. Sorted it with a new (but patched) tube and then the valve core snapped. Also had problems getting the tyre off the rim (reinforced kevlar bead/sidewall tyres) and felt a right muppet.
Anyway, thanks to the road biker who came out of his house with a full tool kit and lent me a hand then offered me a spare tube! Much appreciated!
Was at Hendra stores nr the viaduct at about 6pm.
