Hi,
Off again to the peak district to do a hard route this weekend. I normally trail in forests - have a stumpjumper hard tail and using 2.0 bontrager tyres - however what tyres would you recommend for rocky/bouldery climbs and decents like edale area?
best
Nick

On my Kona FS I use Maxxis Advantage 2.4s, the tread seems suitable for everything that you can get up there.
They do a thinner (2.1?) version aswell.Scott Scale Custom

I find my Maxxis ignitors to be very good up there, so much grip! I hav ethe 2.35" versions, but they also do a smaller size to, think it's 2.1" Which i think would be cool!0

I used a high roller super tacky on the front and fire XC pro on the rear when i was there a few weeks back, did the job very well and it was reasonably muddy. With all the wet weather i guess you might want a more mud specific tyre on the rear though0
