Given the recent weather, I am inclined to invest in a new pair of bibs. I like the look of the Pearl Izumi Gavia Plus. Anyone know how their sizing compares to the likes of Assos, etc?

I would say their sizing and cut is suited to more "normally" shaped people :wink:

I have a pair of Pearl Izumi bib shorts, 3/4's and bib tights. They all fit very well. The size charts on the website are very accurate and reflect your everyday clothing sizes.

I have very limited experience with Assos, but I would say the cut is tight, close fitting and more suited to the racing whippets :) The PI stuff is more suited to the more "generous" figures

    Hope this helps.

Oh and I feel like I've been raped by an Orangutan  And I've got legs like Girders

I'm 69 kg and 5' 10" so not a 'generous figure' and PI medium fits me well. I have PRO bibs, Pearl Izumi 4178 Slice ThermaFleece Cycling Bibtights, Pittards gloves and a couple of jerseys all size medium. The jerseys I bought in the sale are very fitted.

Thanks both. Going to order the mediums as I'm 73kg and 5'11, so hopefully they'll do the job. Guess what size Wiggle don't have in stock though
