Downhill in Spain

Next year, we're onnabout going to spain, near Malaga, i was wondering what its like for downhill there?
and any recommended towns to stay in? bearing in mind we will have a car.

    there is a whole host of riding areas around the area. you can get the cable car up the mountain from Benalmadina and ride back down through the mountains. Havent done it myself but watched some guys bomboing down the hill this summer

    yeah we've stayed in Benalmadena so that's a big attraction at the moment. Just wondered if anything else was on offer :P

  • for some proper downhill riding, check out these guys. Its closer to Grenada though, but we drove over there from Malaga in some 3 hours.

    been there last year, mainly for xc riding, but they also have downhill options. Beautiful area and great trails.

    Yeah ive heard about switchbacks, but its a family holiday ideally, but im taking a mate, and we need some local dh riding, prefarably more than the cable cars. Thanks though.
