Can't decide between these:

Topeak Mini Morph

Lezyne Pressure Drive - Then either small or Med?

Lezyne much better looking... but that's not great criteria to determine your purchase

The Lezyne with the little connector hose - means you've got a lot less risk of ripping the valve off. Nicely finished product and seems up to the job - most mini pumps aren't up to getting serious pressure in a tyre without a stupid amount of effort.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

The Lezyne with the little connector hose

The very reason why I got a Lezyne recently - I reckon screw on hose connector better than the press-on variety.

  • +1 for the Lezyne pressure drive. Nice, good quality pump. The screwed connector hose is neat (presta and shraeder fit), well made, takes the strain off the valve and easy to remove at 120 psi in the tyre. I've the medium and its small enough for a jersey pocket. Small maybe too small. Comes with a mounting bracket that will sit under the bottle cage.

I can't comment on the Lezyne, I've never used one, but I can say that the Topeak is by far the best mini pump I've ever seen or used. Its the only one I've used where you can actually get over 100psi (with ease). Its well worth the (slightly) extra bulk and weight unless you are a super strong pumper.

I have the Topeak fastened to my commuter and have just bought the Lezyne as I keep forgetting to put it back after taking it when I go out on other bikes at the weekend. I got my first chance to use the Lezyne this week towards the end of a 110km mountain bike race and will always be taking it from now on. Having the hose to connect it makes it less likely that you will damage the valve and not having to worry about that makes the whole process much easier. It makes a big difference when you are tired!

Looks like I need to find a local dealer that sells Lezyne.

The new "road drive" is even better for road tyres, but bigger.
Not yet in stock accross UK apart from CRC...

See the new Lezyne catalogue for some chioce goodies, including the whole range with added carbon.

I have the pressure drive and its great.
