hey, since my Pinnacle was nicked by some pikeys, ive got some insurance money to spend on a new bike. I'm probably going to get a Charge Iron but it comes rigid and id like to change the Nozzle forks for either Argyle 302's or DJ2's. The 20mm axle isn't a problem as I have a DMR Pro 24 wheel knocking about in the garage that ill fit and thats got a thru-axle already. I had Argyle's on the Pinnacle and was not overly impressed with them but I would be willing to give them another chance! any thoughts? cheers

Argyle 318 2009 in white at CRC for 230£.
The motion control will make some difference to the 302 and probably to the DJ2.

mmm, don't know really, just didnt really think they were that strong or controlled but to be honest, i didnt have the time to do much hardcore jumping or 4x racing with them before the bike was stolen.

From Evans I see that you can choose between Argyle 302 2007 and DJ2 2009 with 9mm dropouts.

They'll probably perform the same but there is a lot of difference between the weight.
    Argyle - 2517g
    DJ2 ---- 2921g

    That's 400g or 1lbs difference.

I would say take the Argyle and later put Motion control in it, if it's possible (supersonic may know that) .
In some other post I think I've read it was 80£. Maybe it's not worthed but...
